Subject: Undertaking for Compliance with Permits, Safety, and Work Standards
We, hereby undertake to fully comply with all necessary regulations, safety guidelines, and work
procedures as required for the execution of the above-mentioned project/activity. We acknowledge our
responsibility and agree to the following:
1. Permits & Approvals
o We will obtain all necessary permits and approvals before commencing any work.
o We will carefully read the Lusail Permit Guidelines and ensure compliance with all the
requirements and checklists.
o We take full responsibility of timely applying for a permit /permit extension if required,
noting that the permit approval may take 3 to 15 days based on the nature of work
o We take responsibility of obtaining external approval like Qatar Rail, Marafiq if applicable
2. Site Cleanliness & Restoration
o We will maintain a clean and tidy site, ensuring that all areas are reinstated to their original
condition post-completion, including fixing any damage to QD assets.
o The removal, storage, and reinstallation of hardscape elements (granite tiles) will be carried
out carefully to maintain original site conditions.
3. Safety & Risk Management
o We will adhere strictly to Lusail Health and Safety standards, Qatar Construction
Specification 2014, and all applicable local statutory requirements.
o Preventive preparedness will be in place for any work failures, and all activities will be
supervised by our appointed supervision consultant.
o Unauthorized personnel violating safety regulations will not be allowed on-site.
4. Protection of Assets & Utilities
o Lusail assets, including but not limited to signage, street furniture, road markings, and
utilities, will be safeguarded throughout the project.
o We will scan/inspect the area for underground utilities before excavation or digging to
prevent any damage.
o No jack erection on finished surfaces (asphalt, tiles, etc.) without appropriate protection
(plywood or equivalent) will be permitted.
5. Traic & Environmental Control
o Proper traic diversions and signage will be implemented in compliance with QHDM and
QCS standards, if applicable.
o Dust, dirt, and mud control measures, as per LUS-L&S-L-2017-00048, will be enforced, and
work will be halted during rain as per LREDC instructions.
o Washing of concrete mixers and pumps within Lusail City is strictly prohibited, and we will
ensure roads remain free from oil or concrete spills.

6. Hoarding & Site Security
o Temporary site hoarding, where required, will be constructed using painted corrugated
galvanized sheets (minimum 2 meters high) to prevent unauthorized access.
o The hoarding will include necessary gates, guardrails, and safety screens, maintained
throughout the project, and removed upon completion.
o The latest hoarding and fencing standards acceptable by QD will be strictly followed.
7. Dewatering Activities
o All Dewatering activities will be conducted strictly in accordance with Lusail regulations
and relevant environmental guidelines.
o Proper measures will be taken to prevent soil erosion, water contamination, or disruption
to nearby utilities and structures.
o In case of rain, all road cutting and dewatering activities will be halted as per LREDC
directives.
o LREDC shall not be responsible for any delays in obtaining permits and approvals if
dewatering requests were not included at the time of applying for the enabling work permit
o Any water discharge will be managed in compliance with environmental and municipal
regulations, ensuring no adverse impact on surrounding areas
o We undertake to obey environmental law No. 30, Year 2002, and its execution articles,
specifically article No. 4, regarding water quality specifications and discharge limits to
aquatic environments and any other specific conditions.
o We undertake full responsibility for preparing and submitting an emergency response plan
in the event that dewatering activities are suspended by LREDC.
8. Work Execution & Monitoring
o All activities will be performed in accordance with QCS 2014, local regulations, and Lusail
safety policies.
o Work will not be left unattended, and photographic evidence of the site (before and after
work) will be maintained.
9. Compliance & Work Schedule
o Strict adherence to all laws, rules, and procedures of the State of Qatar, Lusail authorities,
and local regulations will be maintained.
o Work will not be conducted on Fridays and Saturdays unless special approval is granted.
o Night work will be monitored using an approved night control checklist.
10. Liability & Accountability
o We accept full responsibility for any damage, settlements, or defects resulting from our
work and commit to rectifying them to the original condition.
o Housekeeping will be maintained as per LREDC guidelines.
o Photographic evidence will be documented before the installation of kiosks or any other
structures.
11. Close Out
o We confirm that all work will be completed as per the approved permit scope and safety
requirements before requesting permit close-out
o We will ensure that all tools, equipment, and personnel are cleared from the site, and the
area is restored to its original or designated condition

o We will notify the concerned department for final inspection and will obtain formal sign-o
to complete the permit closure process
12. Final Commitment
By signing this undertaking, we confirm our full responsibility for compliance with all the above
commitments throughout the duration of the project.
